No, THECUBER® is not a trailer manufacturer. Our team builds our closed box trailers from the chassis up. Apart from a few features that we cannot produce ourselves, such as batteries, axles, refrigerators and windows, everything is manufactured by us.
Depending on the equipment and design, our trailers (single-axle) have an unladen weight of approx. 950 kg – 1250 kg. Our tandem trailers have an unladen weight of approx. 1200 kg – 1500 kg.
Payload: Single-axle with gross vehicle weight of 1500 kg: 250 kg – 550 kg. Single-axle with gross vehicle weight of 1800 kg: 550 kg – 850 kg. Tandem with gross vehicle weight of 2500 kg: 1000 kg – 1300 kg.
Yes, all our closed box trailers are approved for 100 km/h as standard (the speed limit on country roads remains 80 km/h).
Yes, all THECUBER® closed box trailers are insulated with 40 mm thick thermal sandwich material and, thanks to the optional built-in auxiliary heating, can also be used comfortably in winter, or with the roof air conditioning in summer.
Yes, all closed box trailers from THECUBER® are gas-free! The 12V electrical appliances are powered exclusively by a lithium battery. 230V sockets and 230V appliances can also be used without any problems via an external power connection or an optional inverter.
Because for us, the identity of the closed box trailer and its use are paramount. A THECUBER® utility trailer focuses on providing practical support in everyday work.

We have a wide range of different models on display at our factory in Engstingen, and we also regularly attend trade fairs.
To view the various models at our factory, please make an appointment in advance. Unfortunately, it is not possible to visit without an appointment.
Before the purchase
A classic configurator is not yet available. A wide range of floor plans are available on our models page. Once you have decided on a model, click on ‘Contact’ to access our enquiry form. There you can request a non-binding quote or information material by entering your personal details and model selection.
Our closed box trailers are sold exclusively through us. Therefore, they can only be purchased from us.
After the initial consultation and successful review of the order, you will receive a quote from us. Once you have reviewed it, you can give us your approval. We will then send you an order confirmation.
Yes, you can finance or lease our closed box trailers through our partner bank.
No, only partially converted closed box trailers are possible.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer completely customised vehicles. However, we can certainly accommodate minor special designs or modification requests that differ from our standard offerings.
Yes, delivery is possible. We would be happy to provide you with a cost-effective quote.
However, we recommend that you collect the goods from our factory in Engstingen, as you will receive thorough instruction here.
Once both parties have agreed on a collection date in writing, nothing stands in the way of collection. On the day of collection, you will receive thorough instructions on complete assembly and disassembly, as well as all important information and documents.
The order confirmation shows the deposit amount of 30% of the purchase price. Once this amount has been credited to our account, your order will be entered into our planning system. The remaining amount must be credited to our account before collection. Cash payments are not possible.
After the purchase
You will receive the non-binding delivery time for your trailer together with the order confirmation.
If you would like to enquire about the current status of your trailer, please feel free to contact us by email. However, please understand that enquiries, even if made frequently, will not speed up the production or delivery process.
Shortly before collection, you will receive all the important documents you need to register your closed box trailer with the registration office.
Our closed box trailers must undergo a general inspection 24 months after their initial registration and then every 24 months thereafter for ongoing general inspections.
Our closed box trailers are designed so that almost all optional extras can be retrofitted.
